Welcome! I'm a developmental editor based in the Pacific Northwest, with over 20 years of experience in editing, writing, and editorial management.
I specialize in developmental and line editing, along with manuscript critique and book coaching, for writers of fiction and creative nonfiction. My favorite genres include literary, upmarket, and speculative fiction, mystery/thriller, YA, and memoir.

My own writing has been widely published and is under literary representation. My book NO CONTACT, an anthology about family estrangement, is forthcoming from Catapult (April 2026) and features several bestselling and critically acclaimed writers. I frequently profile authors and review books. My work appears in The Boston Globe, The Seattle Times, CrimeReads, The Rumpus, Chicago Review of Books, Room, Hippocampus Magazine, and other publications, as well as in several anthologies.
With a background in marketing and a deep knowledge of the publishing industry, I can edit your agent query materials and book proposal for maximum impact. I also provide editorial management services to organizations seeking senior expertise. My career includes over fifteen years of creative project management in publishing, advertising, design, and more. I’m the former editorial manager for Artful Editor and managing editor of Literary Mama and Quiltfolk magazine.
I hold a master's degree in sociocultural anthropology from Columbia University, a bachelor’s degree in film from the University of Texas, and a certificate in editing from the University of Washington.
