I was very pleased to read the article "What AI Is Doing to the Aspiring Writer Inside," published in Cheryl Stephens's LinkedIn newsletter Elucidator:
... Clarity of intent is not separate from writing. It is writing. And in an AI-mediated environment, the cost of skipping that step is no longer just weak prose.
It is the gradual loss of the writer inside.
That's exactly the issue!
