Welcome to our new community platform! It's been years in the making with many ups and downs. Already, I can see major improvements.

Definitely review your profile settings. Not all the information ported over cleanly, and now is a good time to make sure all the right boxes are ticked so you show up in member directory searchings.

In addition to my editing projects, I've been using Claude Cowork as a digital assistant for project management, scheduling tasks, and giving me marketing prompts. I've had the three most productive weeks of my career, and I'm feeling optimistic about my freelance business and my writing portfolio. (Note: I don't use GenAI for any creative writing tasks; I use agentic AI to streamline admin and improve my time management.)

I'm curious to hear what's on your minds related to AI and your freelance careers.

Thank you Cody, and welcome to the AI Affinity Group. I've used AI (Claude) mainly for brainstorming a couple of Discord communities I created, coming up with ideas for interviews or discussion topics for the communities I help to coordinate. For work, I mainly use Gemini and Claude as a sounding board, and I've used Notebook LM once to assess some lengthy front matter of a book I was working on.
