Just as water briefly links the ink and paper in ink wash painting, editing is a temporary collaboration that allows the author's ideas to fully spread. As the main editor of Ink Wash Edits, I offer support services for academic and nonfiction authors at all levels. I am trained in the cultural history and literature of modern China. My doctorate is in the modern history of classical Chinese theater (EALC) from the University of Chicago (2017). I specialize in helping authors whose work must speak to audiences across fields of study, levels of expertise, and global cultures. Special expertise: Humanities and social sciences. I can proofread and revise translations from Chinese to English in both modern and classical.
