I am an academic editor specializing in developmental and line editing for monographs, multi-authored volumes, and articles in art and architectural history. I am the co-coordinator of the EFA International Chapter and a member of the Association of Art Editors. I also co-host an online weekly writing group for the Historians of Islamic Art Association.
My clients are tenured professors, early-career scholars, and museum curators. Their books have been published or are forthcoming with the American University in Cairo Press, Brill, Doubleday/Viking, Edinburgh University Press, Indiana University Press, JOVIS, the Monacelli Press, the MIT Press, the Metropolitan Museum of Art/distributed by Yale University Press, and Penn State University Press.
Academic authors often comment that my PhD training in art history makes my substantive comments especially productive while my experience working in museums makes me attuned to the specific needs of different audiences. I am always excited to learn about new scholarship and am especially committed to making editing accessible to and affordable for academic authors in contingent or teaching-intensive appointments or in "alt-ac" roles.
