EFA clients include published, unpublished, and new authors; academic researchers and writers; publishing houses; businesses of all types; and placement agencies.

➤ Search the Member Directory: Conduct an individualized search based on editorial skill, subject area expertise, genre specialty, type of manuscript, style guide experience, location, name, and other criteria. Once you've identified freelancers who meet the needs of your project, you may contact them directly using the information in their profile.

➤ Submit a job listing: Submit a job listing describing your project. Once it's approved, we circulate the job opening to EFA members. Qualified freelancers will then contact you directly.

➤ Search open job listings: The Job List is a key member benefit that circulates postings for both freelance and permanent work. You can search openings and subscribe to job list notifications. When you come across a job that’s a good fit, you contact the client directly.

➤ Subscribe to Job List notifications: Go to your member profile settings and scroll to the bottom. Next to "I'd like to receive Job List notifications by email," select "Yes"; then save your settings. (See screenshot below.)
