Eliza Turrill is a freelance editor who runs her own company, Revision Room. She has 15 years' experience in the writing and editing space, as well as 10-plus years working in corporate communications for Fortune 500 companies. She holds degrees in English literature and writing, along with a master's-level publishing certificate from the University of Denver Publishing Institute.

 

Her goal as an editor is never to replace a writer's unique voice, but to provide thoughtful critique and encouragement so they walk away with both a stronger manuscript and more confidence as a writer. She leads with empathy, and brings strategic precision and a love of storytelling to every project. She also has a passion for helping neurodivergent writers navigate the writing and publishing world. She is anti-AI.
