Heyo! I'm Jenna (she/they), a line and copy editor specializing in literary and speculative fiction. If you're looking to self-publish or go indie, I'm here for that too! I also do aromantic/asexual authenticity reads for a wide range of genres.
I take a growth-focused approach to editing--I'm careful to walk you through the reasons behind my edits and explain patterns that I've noticed. I edit a range of speculative fiction genres, such as sci-fi and fantasy, and especially love anything with a healthy dose of social discourse. If your story has lots of motifs and thematic elements going on, I'm the kind of editor who's ready to dig into those and make sure they're sharp.
Genres that are not a good fit include romance, religious, erotica, and horror. I'm a low-spice kind of editor, so on-page sex and steamy plots are a no-go for me.
