I'm a developmental and line editor of fiction. I specialise in speculative fiction (including horror), romance (all levels of spice), and queer fiction. I have experience with both genre and literary fiction. I’m open to other genres so long as I can offer enough value for the project.
I’m also a member of the LGBTQ+ Editors Association.
I don’t work on manuscripts that use generative AI, and I don’t use it to edit either. AI poses a lot of ethical and copyright issues. I also believe that both writing and editing are human arts that require creative input.
I’m committed to uplifting diversity and making editing services more accessible to marginalised writers.
My studies focused on language, literature, cinema, research, and literary analysis. I've freelanced as a professional beta reader for a year while studying fiction editing. I also have a couple years of informal experience as a critique partner through writing groups.
