I am an academic editor with a PhD in sociology. I focus on helping clients in the social sciences and related fields develop academic manuscripts that are clear, informative, concise, and polished. Writing is a difficult skill to master, especially when you have many competing demands in your academic life. However, publishing in a competitive academic setting requires high-quality writing. I provide editing services that help my clients create high-quality academic documents that are ready for publication.I received my PhD in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004 and have focused solely on editing since 2007. My clients include professors, post-docs, and graduate students and my projects include scholarly journal articles, book manuscripts, dissertations, grant proposals, and other academic documents. I have worked extensively with non-native English speakers. My academic background means I have a solid grounding in social science research methods, literature, and statistics. I understand the pressures of academic writing and am flexible, working with you to meet your needs. I am willing to work closely with you to understand your goals and fit academic editing services into your budget, large or small.
