wrote on the Affinity Groups: BIPOC wall: LGBTQ+ Editors Association is seeking a volunteer moderator for the QTPOC Slack channel. The role is primarily to host and moderate a Slack channel within the main LGBTQ+ Editors Association Slack. The channel is already established and has a few members now, but the moderator can facilitate discussion and add questions if they wish to. There is no commitment beyond being the main point of contact for the channel. The QTPOC moderator can also work alongside the other mods in the main Slack channel and bring issues and concerns to the board as needed. All volunteers need to be LGBTQ+ Editors Association members (free to join). That’s it—a volunteer role, but one with scope for change if someone wishes to be more involved with a growing association of LGBTQ+ editors.
