I am the former Editorial Director of Hay House, Inc., and an editor with more than 25 years of experience and dozens of best-selling titles under my belt. I have worked in both fiction and nonfiction; the bulk of my experience, however, is in nonfiction, particularly in the field of self-improvement and personal development. I have edited hundreds of books by scores of writers--from memoirs to works on topics as varied as health and fitness, metaphysics, spirituality, business, and history. I have also worked on numerous card decks and journals over the years.

I currently own and operate Littrell Editorial and continue to specialize in book publishing. I am particularly focused on developmental editing, working with authors to help refine their message and create the most effective manuscript possible. I am also experienced in helping authors put together proposals to send to agents, as well as assisting with cover copy or material related to their brand or platform. I am intimately familiar with most aspects of publishing, including design, marketing, sales, and PR. Consequently, I have a great sense for what sells and what publishers are looking for. I am highly familiar with The Chicago Manual of Style and adapting to house style.
