I have been a freelance copyeditor and proofreader specializing in fiction since 2005.I have completed hundreds offiction copyediting and proofreading projects, rangingacross a wide variety of subject areas and genres, including mystery, crime/suspense, science fiction, fantasy, romance, literary fiction, and young adult (YA) fiction.I have spent the majority of my time as a freelancer working for established publishers such as St. Martins Press and its imprints (Picador, Tor/Forge, Minotaur, etc.) and HarperCollins, and have also worked for several smaller presses. In addition, I enjoy working with individual authors who plan to submit their manuscript to agents and publishers, or to self-publish.I am a careful editor with a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for helping each author make his or her book the best it can be.
