Great sex scenes reveal character, heighten tension, and move the story forward. But without the help of an editor, they can also tip into cliché or over-the-top euphemism. In this fun, engaging, and enlightening 60-minute workshop, we'll look at how to build compelling sex scenes across different genres and relationship styles. We'll also explore what makes a sex scene fundamental to the story, learn a few writing exercises that will help authors get unstuck when crafting them, and discover how to edit these scenes to reveal character.
