EFA Table Volunteer Sheet for DFWCon

DFWCon: October 4–5

We are pleased to share with you that the EFA is planning to host a table at DFWCon again this year!

The DFW Writers Conference is the premier, multi-genre writers conference in the Southwest and will take place October 4–5, 2025, in Hurst, Texas. This year’s theme is Your Story Starts Here.

North Texas chapter members who represented the EFA at this conference in prior years reported that many attendees stopped by the table, and that they responded well to learning about the EFA and how it serves both writers and editors. We’re really excited about returning to this event and hope that several chapter members can join us there.

How You Can Participate

If you are interested in volunteering to help us staff the EFA table at DFWCon this year, please use this form to sign up for a shift. To give more members an opportunity to participate, we ask that you choose just one shift initially. Note, the schedule as of now is not final yet, so the times on the form may need to be shifted if the event's start and end times are different from last year's.

Not able to be there in person? You can still have a presence at our table by providing us with some of your business cards so we can make them available to attendees looking for a local editor. Contact Angie to get the address to mail your cards to.
