Working as a freelancer requires making the time to shift into CEO mode to work on your business. Whether you’re new to freelancing or a seasoned pro, taking a couple of days a year to look back and plan ahead can make a huge difference to how you approach the year.
This two-day intensive will guide you through an annual reflection activity, business operations assessment, and strategic planning process. If you’ve been feeling lost managing your freelancing business, frustrated with how little progress you’re making on your business goals, or overwhelmed by choices, these exercises will help you gain the clarity you need to choose your next steps and take concrete action.
This class will help you:
- Capture accomplishments, challenges, and takeaways from the past year in your business to create a big-picture comprehensive reflection.
- Assess your business operations, digital presence, outreach and marketing efforts, and client management processes so that you can pinpoint improvements, needs, and next steps.
- Make a strategic (and realistic) action plan that accounts for your capacity, professional goals, and available resources.
In two days of interactive sessions, you'll have a chance to share reflections, ask for advice and support, and learn from the knowledge and experience of the other participants and the instructor. Plan to show up ready to participate in an engaging and thoughtful way. Together we'll pause, reflect, and launch into 2026 with a clear vision and a solid plan.
