I am an editor, book coach, writer, and semi-retired physician. I specialize in helping professionals in the STEM and healthcare fields tap into their creative sides to write great stories. I bring sensitivity and a strong analytic background into a coaching and editing experience that will support your storytelling strengths. I enjoy working with indie authors who write speculative fiction from short stories to novels, helping them bring authenticity to their speculations and heart to their stories. My range of services includes developmental editing, line editing, copyediting, and manuscript evaluations. I hold certificates in fiction writing from UCLA Writers Program and in copyediting from UC San Diego. I've earned certification as a Story Grid Editor and a Fictionary StoryCoach Editor. I teach scene writing in several Story Grid workshops.
