I work with publishers like Wizards of the Coast, Elder Glade Publishing, and Manuscripts as well as independent authors and businesses. I edited 2022 Hugo Award nominee, Seanan McGuires' Tangles in the short story category.

When I am not reading or editing, I am an avid gamer and gardener. I also dabble in journaling, yoga, rock climbing, mini-painting, and baking. When I can, I indulge my wanderlust and visit as many historical sites, museums, gardens, and local haunts as possible with my husband, our tiny gremlin, and our dog.I live in the Great Lakes State of Michigan where I am a coordinator for the MI chapter of the Editorial Freelancers Association. I volunteer as Community Co-Coordinator for the Editors Tea Club and I am a member of ACES: The Society of Editing.

Experience and Involvement: I have a Bachelors Degree in Writing and Rhetoric with a minor in Business from Oakland University, MI. I started my career in the automotive industry and had spent the last five years as a Technical Editor working with engineers and executives while running Book Realm Revisions. What started as a creative side business quickly became my passion and what I wanted to do full-time. I have been full-time with Book Realm Revisions and its clients since 2022. I bring over a decade of experience to help polish and transform my clients drafts into the vision they dream of.

"Writing a novel alone is not only difficult, it is impossible at least if you want to do it well. Upon approaching Heather Romanowski, she provided incalculable assistance throughout the writing and publishing process. Whether it was as a beta reader, a full-service editor, or just someone to bounce ideas off of, she proved to be an invaluable resource for me as an author." -Eamon Bernard.

"I've been working with Book Realm Revisions on my current novel series, The Cerolian Sagas, for quite some time now. Communication has always been fast and efficient, payments are flexible and affordable, and overall its just been a delight! If you need a great editor, ABSOLUTELY look into BRR for whatever your project requires!" -Vieryon.
