I work with adventure sports athletes, wanderers, and bicycle travelers to help unlock the transformative aspects of their experiences beyond the miles. I have a BA and MFA in Creative Writing, with focuses on poetry, travel writing, and publishing. I've worked for a number of literary publications, including Autumn House Press, before moving into the travel, magazine, and sports writing world. In addition to regional and web editor roles, I'm the former Editor-in-Chief at Dirt Rag and Adventure Cyclist and former Editorial Director at Overland Expo. I love working with new authors looking to uncover the deeper meanings of their experiences, as well as seasoned writers who have lost their own creative voice to the world of service journalism and are looking to tap back into their own writerly instincts. My own writing has won numerous awards, scholarships, and grants, and has been republished in anthologies and a textbook. I value the individual goals, vision, and artistic integrity of my clients.
