I am a BELS-certified life science proofreader and editor of many years experience. Most of my clients are academics seeking to publish in professional journals, but I have also edited books, websites, childrens educational content, and news articles. I earned and maintained public trust security clearance for my work with the Institute of Education Sciences within the Department of Education.My largest block of experience outside the life sciences is in edutainment. I served as the principal English-language writer and editor for CATAVIA Kids for several years. We produced content on air and space for children K-12 with a focus on middle school. Our biggest accomplishment was probably the childrens exhibit we produced for the New England Air Museum.Outside professional writing, I am also an experienced beta reader.
