Jacquie Gardy is an editor, educator, and facilitator with more than 15 years of experience helping organizations and authors bring clarity, accuracy, and heart to their words. As founder of Gardy Learning Design Studio, she provides proofreading, copyediting, and developmental editing services, along with consulting on inclusive curriculum design and trauma‑informed teaching practices. Her clients include education and edtech companies, nonprofits, and self‑published authors seeking editorial support that is both meticulous and mission‑driven.

Jacquie’s editorial work is grounded in a long career in global education. She holds a BA in Global Studies from California State University, Monterey Bay, and an MA in TESOL from American University in Washington, DC. For 14 years, she served as a global program officer in the Office of English Language Programs for the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, where she managed and edited a wide range of print and digital publications, coordinated grants, and oversaw contractor deliverables.

Known for her relational approach, Jacquie blends editorial precision with a deep commitment to equity, accessibility, and authentic storytelling—ensuring every project she touches is both polished and purposeful.
