I am a published book author and a professional freelance writer and editor.My published books include A Jersey Girls Guide to the Universe (A Memoir), The Indispensable Field Guide to Freelance Writing, Global Warming: Essential Viewpoints (directed at middle school students), and ADHD, a book about attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (also directed at middle school students). I have also written a wide range of materials for newspapers, magazines, nonprofits, and other organizations.As a freelance editor, I have also edited a wide range of materials, including magazines, books, marketing materials, curriculum guides, websites, etc. For book authors, I offer developmental editing, copyediting, proofreading, and manuscript critique. I edit both fiction and nonfiction. I have also managed two magazinesLake Minnetonka Magazine, a lifestyle publication about the Lake Minnetonka area in Minnesota, and International Wolf, the magazine of the International Wolf Center, a nonprofit educational organization in Minnesota.My career evolved from my first major position as the managing editor of a weekly newspaper in New Jersey called The New Egypt Press.
