*As a comprehensive academic editor, I employ a detailed editing process using Tracked Changes. Throughout this process, I provide explanations for edits/corrections; recommendations regarding content structure and organization, proper use of language in high-level, academic writing; assistance with headings, in-text citations, etc.; and recommendations concerning content flow, coherence, and clarity. Upon completion of a project, the client will receive three items: (a) my edited version of the document or manuscript, (b) my SJL Editor Summary Report, and (c) a computer-generated Word Count document. Above all, I aim to develop a positive and productive working partnership with each client. This includes maintaining editorial integrity and ethical work practices. *Please note that I do not work with AI-produced material, nor do I use AI in any aspect of my editing procedures.
