Copyediting has been a significant component of my varied employment history over the past decade. Past projects I have edited include commercial sales catalogues, advertising copy for university events and conferences, and academic journal articles.
I hold a BA in Art History, an MA in Anthropology, and a PhD in Ancient Roman Archaeology. I am passionate about supporting academic writers engaging with art, communication, media studies, and identity.
Academic editing is just one of my many skill sets. I am eager to support nonfiction writers whose work engages with identity, disability, migration, and human rights. My background in copyediting, fact-checking, and proofreading, as well as project management, makes me well-suited to helping writers succeed.
Outside of editing, I enjoy travel and find fulfillment in mentoring college students. I have lived abroad in Rome and Paris and spent stints of time traveling in Austria, Costa Rica, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Scotland, South Africa, and Tunisia. I also serve as a mentor for the Asian and Asian American Classical Caucus, Mountaintop Coalition, and Women's Classical Caucus.
